brothers and childhood friends and was always up for an adventure. Lamont graduated from Ogden
High School and attended Weber State University.

Retirement did not slow him down and in 1996 he and his family opened their first Papa Murphy’s
store and grew it into a successful chain of stores. He loved working with family, his
employees and cherished the community they built. Lamont was a devoted seasoned ticket holder
of the Utah Jazz for over 40 years. Going to the Jazz games was part of what being a "Theall"
meant. Thanks Dad and Grandpa for sharing your love of the game!
Lamont instilled his family with a lifelong passion for living life to the fullest. He was our
rock and above all, Lamont was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He served as an AYSO commissioner, coach and referee for many years and was fortunate enough to
take a youth team to play in Germany for 3 weeks.

and Matthew; grandchildren, Gabriel and Abigail; his mother Vernessa Miller; siblings, Cary
